Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Background working with school-aged children, especially ages PreK–2nd grade, is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, patience, and a passion for fostering communication growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in PreK–2nd grade students
- Tailor therapy sessions and interventions based on each child’s unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans
- Contribute to IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations
- Provide resources and support for teachers and parents to encourage student progress
