These roles offer valuable school-based experience and flexible, part-time schedules to fit your lifestyle.
Available opportunities:
- 32 hours per week at a charter school serving a diverse K–8 student population in Port St. Lucie.
- 15 hours per week with a prep school, also in Port St. Lucie.
- 6 hours per week working with high school students in the Miami Dade area.
The school year begins August 10th, providing time to prepare for a smooth transition into these fulfilling positions.
What we’re seeking:
- Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility in process)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or applicants seeking CFY are welcome
- Experience or comfort working in school settings, serving K–12 populations
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple school sites
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students’ speech and language needs
- Delivering direct and indirect therapy services per IEPs
- Participating in IEP and educational meetings with faculty and families
- Providing consultative support to teachers and staff
- Maintaining accurate, timely records of all therapy and progress
- Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment
