Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Jacksonville, Alabama
Make a real impact supporting students ages 3 through 6th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a welcoming school environment in the Jacksonville, AL area. Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP License (required)
- Credentials in any of the following: SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, pediatric SLP, or school-based SLP
- Experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans for students ages 3 through 6th grade
- Evaluate, monitor, and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with educators and families to support each student’s development
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocating for student needs
This full-time position features a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance throughout the academic year. The assignment runs through May 20, 2027, giving you the opportunity to build strong, lasting relationships and see meaningful progress with your students.
