Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working in school-based environments and with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt services to individual student needs in a school community
- Comfortable serving onsite, with a passion for in-person student interaction
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, direct therapy, and consultation for elementary students onsite
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and communication logs
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support generalization of skills
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Advocate for the needs of students while staying current with best practices in speech-language pathology
