Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade levels
- Strong skills in IEP development, assessment, and evidence-based intervention for a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across multiple grade levels
- Implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary support teams to foster student progress and success
- Monitor and document student outcomes, progress, and program effectiveness in accordance with school and district policies
- Offer guidance and training to staff and families to help generalize communication strategies in educational settings
