Desired skills & experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Ability to serve students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) grades
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams preferred
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver therapy services to students individually and in group sessions across multiple grade levels
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and update documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Provide education and resources to staff and parents about speech and language development
