Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting or working with school-age children
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Screen, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, targeting articulation, language, and social communication goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing input and progress reports
- Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in classroom and home settings
- Maintain detailed and timely records of services and student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
