Speech Language Pathologist in Hyannis, MA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are also encouraged
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse student populations
- A collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Serve as a resource on communication disorders, strategies, and best practices within the school environment
