Step into a rewarding role supporting K-3 students with a focus on speech and language development. The assignment takes place at one elementary site with a manageable caseload of 26 students, creating an environment where your expertise can shine.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP licensure in Massachusetts and ASHA CCC required
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Comfortable working with young learners (Kindergarten-3rd grade)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, speech/language evaluation, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports, including an extra half hour allotted on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consult with classroom teachers, and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for all learners
