Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hurlock, MD

Your caseload will be diverse, including both itinerant responsibilities and a high school self-contained program serving moderate to severe needs. The district is known for its collaborative nature, ensuring you have ongoing support as you work towards student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP License required
- SLP-CCC credential
- Previous experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with K-12 populations, including students with moderate to severe needs
- Ability to travel between sites as part of itinerant coverage
Role Highlights:
- Manage a varied caseload, providing direct speech and language interventions
- Deliver services both to self-contained high school classrooms and multiple school sites
- Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and families to create effective student plans
- Develop IEPs, participate in meetings, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Utilize creative and adaptive approaches tailored to individual student needs
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time scheduling flexibility available
