Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Maryland SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Prior experience working in Maryland schools preferred
- Ability to provide services in a school-based, onsite-only setting
- Experience with moderate to severe self-contained high school caseloads is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a varied K-12 spot fill caseload, ensuring individualized attention for each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy for moderate to severe cases in a self-contained high school setting
- Travel between school sites as an itinerant SLP, ensuring flexible and comprehensive coverage
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs and student progress plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and best student outcomes
