What you’ll bring:
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities across K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, including spot-fill needs
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in K-12 settings
- Support a caseload spread across multiple school sites, including a self-contained high school classroom with moderate to severe needs
- Travel between locations as an itinerant SLP as needed
- Complete evaluations, create IEP goals, and maintain appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
