Essential Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) state license required
- Experience or strong interest in working with early elementary-aged students
- Understanding of best practices for school-based speech and language support
- Ability to work collaboratively with other education professionals
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students at one elementary school site
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and staff to support each student's success
- Provide some assistance to a returning SLP during the late first semester transition
- Uphold compliance with district and state requirements
