Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) state license required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with early elementary-aged students
  • Understanding of best practices for school-based speech and language support
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other education professionals
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students at one elementary school site
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and staff to support each student's success
  • Provide some assistance to a returning SLP during the late first semester transition
  • Uphold compliance with district and state requirements
