Make an impact supporting schools as a Speech Language Pathologist serving multiple locations within one district. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work with students across a variety of age groups, adapting to diverse needs. You'll collaborate closely with an Early Childhood Assessment Team as well as faculty in elementary learning environments, taking on a highly interactive and evaluative role rather than managing a specific student caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology credentials required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong skills conducting speech/language evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to provide professional support and consultation to teachers and staff
  • Flexibility to assist at multiple schools as district needs dictate
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students as needed
  • Participate as a valued member of the Early Childhood Assessment Team
  • Provide consultative support to educators to best meet student needs
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with required documentation standards
  • Collaborate with parents and school staff to develop strategies and recommendations
  • Travel between district schools (within close proximity) during the week
