Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Provide support and resources for families and caregivers
