SLP in Cypress, TX
Step into an impactful opportunity supporting elementary school students by providing speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to work closely with students, educators, and families to foster communication skills and support academic success. With a standard school-year schedule, you’ll primarily serve one campus, occasionally traveling between two, ensuring students’ needs are met with consistency and care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome to apply
- Experience working with elementary-age children in school settings is desirable
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to supervise CFs and support peers, if CCCs held
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 60 elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver comprehensive support
- Travel between two schools as needed (primarily based at one site)
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Supervise and mentor SLP Clinical Fellows as appropriate
