Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Louisiana SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience, especially with preschool or early intervention populations
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, children, and families
- Commitment to supporting student growth in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to children aged 3-4 as part of an early interventionist team
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related service professionals
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate results with guardians and staff
- Help facilitate a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for all students
