Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current or eligible New Jersey state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Schools-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills and a willingness to collaborate are welcome
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and service logs, in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Support students’ social and academic development through targeted intervention
