A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a vibrant, supportive school setting near High Point, NC. This full-time, on-site contract role spans the 2026–2027 academic year and encompasses serving students from PreK through grade 12 in elementary and middle school settings. Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid North Carolina NCDPI SLP License (active status confirmation required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Strong working knowledge of ECATS for case management and compliance
- Experience with school-based caseloads spanning diverse grade levels
- No consideration for SLP CFs or SLPAs currently
- Commitment and ability to work exclusively onsite
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals for students in both elementary and middle school
- Complete thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff and families
- Maintain prompt and accurate documentation using ECATS and Infinite Campus systems
- Offer consultative support to teachers and classroom staff as needed
- Responsively monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
- Ensure full compliance with state, district, and federal special education regulations
- Support students across both Thomasville Primary or Liberty Drive Elementary and Thomasville Middle School, managing a caseload of approximately 35–40 learners per site
