Qualifications and Credentials:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- North Carolina Teaching Certification required
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills
Your Role in the District:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
- Communicate proactively and compassionately with parents, caregivers, and educators
