Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a school environment and is passionate about supporting student growth and development. Your expertise in SLP, especially with a CCC credential, will help drive success for students requiring speech and language services. This role is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through November 11th, 2026, providing both immediate and long-term professional satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school settings supporting a diverse student population
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Perform assessments, create therapy plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in effective communication strategies
- Maintain detailed records and timely reporting as required by school policies
This is a contract role scheduled for 30 hours per week (with overall availability for up to 37.5 hours weekly). Flexibility and adaptability will be essential as you respond to the needs of the school community.
