Speech Language Pathologist in Hesperia, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing crucial support to students from Pre-K to 12th grade in a vibrant educational setting. As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting communication development for a diverse caseload of approximately 70-75 students. This full-time assignment runs 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, through June 5, 2026, ensuring long-term impact and continuity of care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs or eligibility
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (experience with diverse student populations is especially valued)
- Strong ability to adapt therapy approaches across grade levels, from early learners through high school
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans while closely collaborating with educational staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, adhere to IEP requirements, and participate in meetings as needed
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, that support functional communication and academic success
- Contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary team discussions focused on student growth
- Stay current on best practices, resources, and professional development opportunities in school-based SLP services
