This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about direct, on-site engagement throughout the academic year. Assignments will begin late July and extend through late May, providing comprehensive service across a variety of campuses and student age groups. Flexibility is essential, as caseload and specific school assignment will be matched based on district needs.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required (completion necessary prior to assignment)
- NV Department of Education certification (must be current or able to acquire following offer)
- Active Nevada SLP License
- SLPs with CCCs strongly preferred; SLP-CFs considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable and will be recognized
- Must be available for on-site, full-time hours; no virtual, hybrid, or part-time options
- Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting processes coordinated by the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services tailored to diverse student populations (caseload details assigned by need)
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized plans
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, timely progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support multiple campuses as needed throughout the contract year
