Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC required, with strong credentials and licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, or a real desire to work in K-12 environments
- Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating diverse speech and language disorders
- Comfortable designing and delivering IEP-based therapy for a wide student population
- Committed to effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- No SLPA oversight needed for this position
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and individualized therapy sessions
- Develop, execute, and document IEP goals in compliance with school standards
- Consult regularly with teachers and parents on student progress and communication needs
- Maintain rigorous and timely documentation on services rendered and student outcomes
- Participate actively in staff meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development
- Maintain ethical standards and a positive, student-focused attitude throughout
