Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hemet, CA
Step into a rewarding contract position as a Speech Language Pathologist, delivering vital services at a single elementary school site. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll be a guiding presence for a caseload of 45-55 elementary students, supporting both general education and special day class programs. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFYs considered
- Experience with elementary-aged students in school settings
- Strong assessment, therapy, and IEP writing skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in both general education and special day class settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and family communications
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with all regulations
- Monitor student progress, adapting approaches to meet evolving needs
