What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Demonstrated experience or passion for working with children in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, supporting both individual and group needs within the school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders, track student progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate and consult with teachers, families, and staff to foster a positive learning environment and facilitate carryover of strategies
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the school community
