An exciting travel opportunity for an experienced or entry-level Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is available, serving school-aged children in Helena, Arkansas. This role offers a chance to work in multiple school settings, providing critical pediatric speech and language services.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC preferred) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credentials
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy, especially in school environments
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 20 students, primarily Kindergarten through 6th grade
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between two school sites
- New graduates (Clinical Fellowship Year) and SLPA professionals will be considered
Location & Schedule:
- Travel assignment based in Helena, Arkansas
- Assignment dates: August 17, 2026, through May 29, 2027
- Engaging caseload with diverse pediatric students across two school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy for students ages K-6
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet state and federal education guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and reports
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
