A contract opportunity is available for a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students throughout the entire school year. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students in grades K-12. Both onsite and virtual/teletherapy candidates are encouraged to apply, offering flexibility for professionals seeking in-person or remote options.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current and valid SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as well as experienced SLPs
  • Consideration will also be given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school or healthcare experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Experience with treatment planning, IEP documentation, and delivering services for K-12 populations
  • Comfortable working in a school-based environment or providing teletherapy services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of about 50 students across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Conduct speech/language, voice, articulation, or fluency assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Document student progress, maintain appropriate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt services to both in-person and virtual delivery as needed
