Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible SLP license in Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- School-based or healthcare experience with pediatrics
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms (if virtual)
- SLPA candidates with school or healthcare background may apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a K-12 school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring individual and group therapy sessions to varied need levels
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general/special education staff and families
- Document progress and maintain required records
