Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or current Clinical Fellowship Year status)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alabama
- Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy across K-12 populations
- SLPA candidates will be considered for healthcare or school-based support roles
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms, if applying virtually
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Document progress in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student success
