Speech Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA

We’re seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, full school year contract opportunity near Hayward, CA. You’ll work with an elementary-aged caseload, delivering assessments and direct therapy services to help students succeed in the classroom and beyond. Caseload specifics are forthcoming, so flexibility and a collaborative spirit are key.
The position welcomes Clinical Fellows (CF) and qualified SLPAs. Supervision details for SLPAs are being clarified. Voco (teletherapy) services are not considered at this time. Candidates should hold an active California license, and previous experience in school settings is highly preferred. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply, though it is not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP or SLPA license required
- Open to both experienced professionals and Clinical Fellows
- Previous experience in elementary schools preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
- Comfortable working onsite; teletherapy is not available
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary students
- Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized support plans
- Document student progress and update records according to school procedures
- Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused environment
