A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support an elementary school caseload in Hayward, CA for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This contracted position offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language services within a dynamic school environment, helping students develop essential communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Participate in progress meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with appropriate licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
