Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - San Mateo, CA

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support an elementary school in San Mateo, CA. This contract position covers a current vacancy and offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to young learners in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, including some after-school hours as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in school settings, including work with pediatrics
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Licensure or certification relevant to practicing as an SLP in educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and requirements
Work Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Additional hours for IEP meetings after school
- Position based at an elementary school in San Mateo, CA
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), beginning in late January
