Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Mateo, California

Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and speech therapy best practices
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary school students during school hours (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Address a range of speech, language, and communication needs in a school context
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, including after-school hours if necessary
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
