Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in San Mateo, CA

A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available at an elementary school site in San Mateo, CA, to cover a current vacancy on a contract basis through the current school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct speech therapy services during school hours with additional sessions as needed for IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school district guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in pediatric or school settings
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting elementary-aged children
- Proficient with IEP process and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Additional hours required for attending IEP meetings as needed
