Speech Pathology - Lynn, MA
Step into a dynamic summer opportunity supporting students’ communication needs as an integral team member in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. We are seeking an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver both direct and consultative services across two campus buildings during a 5-week session. This contract role is ideal for professionals who thrive in an educational setting and are passionate about helping students reach their potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
- Open to professionals with CCC or those completing CFY
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary through middle-high school populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide 10 hours weekly of in-person, direct speech-language therapy to students participating in the ESY program
- Complete up to 2 hours per week of indirect services, including documentation, parent/teacher collaboration, and IEP meetings
- Support students from elementary through high school across two buildings, adapting interventions to varying needs
- Effectively assess, plan, and deliver individualized therapy aligned with student goals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress toward students’ IEP objectives
- Communicate proactively with program leadership, staff, and families
