Qualifications / Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current license to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech and language intervention plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement effective intervention strategies
- Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Educate staff and families on speech, language, and communication development
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
