Speech Language Pathologist in Hartwell, GA

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Associate's degree for SLPA
- Active state license and certification (SLP-CCC or SLPA credentials required)
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school caseloads, is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 6–12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with student goals and state/federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, parents, and administrators
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
- Offer consultation and support for classroom strategies to promote students’ communication skills
