Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hartford, SD

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering therapy aligned with educational goals
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear documentation and recommendations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide support and resources to educators and parents to promote carryover of strategies within the classroom and at home
