Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current and active SLP-CCC license for Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise providing speech and language services to PreK through middle school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and changing school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to assigned caseloads at one of three locations (Green-Hills PreK, Chippens Hill Middle School, or Mountain View)
- Partner with classroom staff, special education teams, and parents to support student progress
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough and timely records of treatment and communication
