Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting elementary students by providing expert speech and language services for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite (virtual may be considered if an onsite SLPA is secured). You'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their communicative and academic goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and monitor progress
  • Developing, implementing, and documenting tailored treatment plans in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure optimal outcomes for each student
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress notes
  • Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with all stakeholders

Desired qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (required; confirmation must be provided for consideration)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCCs) preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings and understanding of the educational environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Full-time availability and reliable transportation
