School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hanover, Pennsylvania
Make a significant impact as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist working in a dynamic education environment near Hanover, PA. Multiple onsite contract opportunities are available with well-established schools for certified SLP professionals focused on supporting either K-12 students or Early Intervention (EI) preschoolers. Virtual/remote work is not available for these positions.
Role A: Two in-person SLPs are needed to serve students across two elementary buildings within a K-12 setting. Imagine building lasting connections as you support both general education and students with autism through a manageable caseload of 50-55 students. This full-time assignment is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some case management responsibilities, and runs from August through late May.
Role B: One SLP is needed for early intervention work with children ages 3-5. This position offers a consistent full-time schedule throughout the year (with frequent school breaks), dedicated weekly paperwork time, and the opportunity to foster communication skills critical for lifelong learning.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certification (must be submitted with your resume)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech services is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Open to Clinical Fellows if your agency is able to cover the required supervision fee
- Only SLPs will be considered; SLPAs are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and provide therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Manage caseloads and track progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Complete required paperwork and case management tasks in a timely manner
