Key qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience in school settings and knowledge of IEP implementation
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic, student-focused approach
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, from mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs
Role responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to approximately 20 elementary students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals for optimal student outcomes
- Performing assessments and maintaining accurate documentation
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team decisions
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
Attractive work conditions:
- Contract runs from August 2026 through May 30, 2027
- Part-time schedule: 13 hours per week, typically between 8:00am and 2:45pm, across 2 to 2.5 days
- Manageable caseload focused exclusively on K-6
