Speech Language Pathologist in Hanceville, AL

This onsite role spans the full academic year from August through May, serving approximately 50 students at the elementary level.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology state license
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active educator certification
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's goals
- Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions onsite
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development initiatives
- Provide recommendations and resources for staff and families
- Adhere to all compliance, confidentiality, and ethical standards required in school settings
