Seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists excited to work with K-12 students across the Virginia Beach and Norfolk area for the upcoming school year. Multiple contract positions are available, offering opportunities to serve diverse districts such as Chesapeake, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll play a crucial role in supporting student growth and communication skills in a dynamic school setting. Full-time hours are offered—work 7.33 hours per day, Monday through Friday, providing consistent support throughout the week.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid State of Virginia SLP licensure required
- Accepting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in schools, K-12 caseloads, or pediatric therapy preferred
- Ability to service diverse needs across multiple schools and communities
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete assessments, develop and implement intervention plans
- Maintain documentation, attend meetings, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Travel between schools within the listed service areas
- Contribute to a positive learning environment where every child can thrive
