Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt service delivery to meet a variety of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, services, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings, reevaluations, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Offer support and guidance to educators regarding best practices for students with communication needs
