Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP License, with ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with diverse student populations and a variety of speech/language disorders
- Compassionate approach and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students PreK-12
- Develop, implement, and regularly update IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver targeted interventions, both individually and in small groups
- Consult and collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and family members
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support classroom strategies and contribute to broader educational planning
- Stay informed about best practices and ongoing developments in speech-language pathology
