Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Hagerstown, MD
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will work primarily with elementary-aged students, providing evaluation, intervention, and support services for a variety of speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
Provide recommendations and strategies to support communication development in the classroom

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Maryland Department of Education certification or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) if required by the district
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
