Speech Language Pathologist in Hagerstown, MD

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Eligible for or holding a valid Maryland state SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for age-appropriate interventions
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress and participation
- Maintain timely and accurate records of sessions, evaluations, and progress notes
- Provide consultation and guidance to faculty and parents regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to broader educational planning
