Speech Language Pathologist in Luther, OK
Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students with diverse speech and language needs throughout the academic year, August through May. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly preferred
- Comfortable working with K-12 students with a broad spectrum of speech/language challenges
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to different school environments
- Flexibility to travel between assigned districts (mileage reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide group speech and language therapy to K-12 students, focusing on targeted intervention and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for each student served in group settings
- Collaborate periodically with other SLPs and education professionals to coordinate care and share strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and state reporting requirements
- Engage with parents and teachers to support student success and foster communication
