Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Guntersville, Alabama

Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Direct experience working in schools, especially with grades 5-12 students
- Pediatric SLP and healthcare-related background preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, collaborative approach to student care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students reach their speech/language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to IEP process
- Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Support students’ transition and generalization of skills within the classroom setting
